Brett Lyndall Singh (Xin Chengle) from South Africa is a pediatrician based in Wenzhou. He was awarded the title of "Outstanding Foreign Volunteer" in a meeting commending role models in China's fight against the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020. He believes that "A friend in need is a friend indeed", and has regarded himself as a "new local” in Wenzhou after this fight against the epidemic.
