When foreigners or stateless persons apply for legal aid in China, they shall apply to the legal aid authorities in China in accordance with the international treaties in which their countries and China participate, or the conditions, procedures or principles of reciprocity stipulated in mutually signed multilateral or bilateral judicial assistance treaties.
