1. The suspect has the right to obtain designated legal aid, if they are minor, blind, deaf, mute, are a psychiatric patients who has not completely lost the ability to recognize or control their own behavior, or they are suspects who may be sentenced to life imprisonment or death.

2. During the investigation stage and the review and prosecution stage, if the suspect does not entrust a defender due to financial difficulties, or the defendant with a foreign nationality does not entrust a defender during the trial stage, they have the right to obtain legal aid upon application.

3. The legal aid recipients and their lawyers have the right to obtain translation assistance.
