You can apply for the test of a formal driving license at the local vehicle administration office of the traffic administration department of public security bureaus if you are above 18 years old, with the following documents: valid ID documents such as passport, valid visa for stay/residence of more than 3 months or valid stay/residence permit, the residence registration certificate issued by the public security bureau and the physical health condition certificate issued by medical organizations at or above the county level. If you pass the test, you can get a formal motor vehicle driving license in China.
