Tips:

1.Residence registration: Foreigners or the host shall go to the local police station for residence registration within 24 hours of arrival at their accommodation when they are not staying in a hotel.

2.Visa and stay documents: The entry & exit administration authorities will make a decision on the visa or stay documents after 7 working days from the date of application.

3.Residence permit: The entry & exit administration authorities will decide whether to issue a residence permit after 15 working days from the date of application.

4.The shortest validity period for a foreigner work-type residence permit is 90 days and the longest period is 5 years. The shortest validity period for a non-work-type residence permit is 180 days and the longest period is 5 years.
