In order to serve the development of Chinese aviation industry and facilitate the exit-entry of crew members, the Exit and Entry Administration of the Ministry of Public Security decides to simplify border inspection for flight crews from January 19, 2015:
1. For Chinese mainland crew members flying with international flights, frontier border inspection authorities shall exempt inspection over their visas to the destination country provided that they go through border inspection formalities with their valid Chinese passports and the crew member name list. Border inspection policy remains unchanged for Chinese mainland crew members on flights to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
2. Filing procedures for crew members on business aircraft shall be canceled. Border inspection for crew members from China's mainland on outbound business aircraft shall be processed in accordance with the above regulation.
3. For crew members on regular flights, their visas generally won't be stamped by border inspection authorities upon exit-entry. But stamping is required for Chinese crew members with single-entry or double-entry visas, or foreign crew members with single-entry or double-entry Type C and Type Z visas. Stamping is also required for crew members on irregular flights upon exit-entry.
