Regulations on Adjusting Border Inspection and Custody Fees Outside of Port of Entry

According to the Announcement on Alignment of Charging Standards by the State Development Planning Commission and the Ministry of Finance, the charging standards for border inspection and custody outside the ports are subject to the adjustments as follows:
At the request of superintendents of foreign transportation vehicles or the maritime court, frontier inspection stations may provide custody and charge the services in accordance with inspection and custody fees for personnel and transportation outside of national open ports, i.e. CNY 50/day and CNY 30 for half a day for every single staff.
The above standards shall be implemented starting May 8, 2001, and the provisions of the Announcement on Charging Border Inspection Services by the Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Finance and State Administration for Commodity Prices shall be repealed at the same time.
