1. APEC Business Travel Card is a multilateral long-term visa. Foreigners with APEC Business Travel Cards (with "CHN" listed on the back of the card as one of the visa-free APEC economies) and their valid passports are allowed to enter and leave China visa-free within the validity period of the APEC Business Travel Card, and stay in China for no more than 60 days for each entry. If "CHN" is not listed on the back of the card as one of the visa-free APEC economies, unless other visa exemption conditions apply, the card holder shall still apply for Chinese visa in advance.

2. All APEC Business Travel Card holders may use the "special passage" at the borders for border inspection procedures.

3. Foreigners who have lost their travel cards in China after entering the country visa-free may leave China with their valid passports. After verifying their entry with an APEC Business Travel Card, the border inspection authority will allow their exit. For those overstaying 60 days, punishments will be imposed by the border inspection authority in accordance with the law.

4. Foreigners entering China visa-free with an APEC Business Travel Card and having to stay in China for more than 60 days due to medical or business emergencies shall apply for stay permit with relevant materials to the local exit-entry departments of China's public security organs 7 days prior to the end date of the duration of stay. Stay permit for no more than 30 days shall be issued for applications that are deemed reasonable upon review. Those who are denied shall leave the country before the due date.
