On November 20, 2025, the National Immigration Administration (NIA) of China introduced the online arrival card filling service for foreigners. Before traveling to China, foreigners can submit their entry information through official channels, including NIA's website, government service platforms, "NIA 12367" (移民局12367), and WeChat and Alipay mini-programs. Foreigners can also submit their information by scanning the designated QR code for the arrival card via mobile devices. This service has made entry procedures more convenient and streamlined.
Attention: Recently, overseas fraudsters have been defrauding travelers of fees by setting up counterfeit websites posing as China's official platform for arrival card filling. NIA hereby warns that the online arrival card filling, as an innovative service to facilitate entry into China, is free of charge. Please access the service only through the aforementioned official channels or by scanning the QR code below. For foreigners unable to submit information online in advance, online filling can also be completed by using smart devices offered at China's exit-entry ports upon arrival. The paper arrival cards also remain available at these ports.
